Chocolate Chip Cookies

Makes 15-18 BIG chewy cookies
2 baking trays lined with baking parchment
165°C | 325°F | Gas Mark 3
15-17 minutes (or until the edges are lightly toasted. 20 minutes for my oven)

2C
Plain Flour
½tsp
Bicarbonate of Soda
Sift together and set aside.
½tsp
Salt
¾C (6oz | 140g)
Unsalted Butter
Melt in a large bowl in the microwave.

Light Soft Brown Sugar (packed)
½C
Caster Sugar
Cream together with the melted butter.
1Tbsp
Vanilla Extract

Egg (Large)
Beat in until light & creamy.

Egg Yolk
Mix in flour until just blended.
2C (300g)
Milk Chocolate Chunks (or chips)
Fold in.

Drop level ¼C of dough on to tray. 6 to a tray. Don't press them down.
Bake until done.
Leave on pan to cool for 10 minutes before moving to a wire cooling rack.
