Brownies

13 x 9 inch tin, greased (butter or oil)
180°C | 350°F | Gas Mark 4
20-22 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted in comes out almost clean. 30 minutes for my oven)

¾C (6oz | 170g)
Unsalted Butter, melted
1½C
Caster Sugar
Mix together in a large bowl.

Eggs
Beat in one at a time.
1½tsp
Vanilla Extract
½C
Cocoa Powder
¾C
Plain Flour
½tsp
Baking Powder
Mix in each ingredient one at a time.
½tsp
Salt
1C (200g)
Chocolate Chips
1C (100g)
Chopped Walnuts (optional)

Pour mixture in to the tin, spreading it evenly, and bake until done.
Leave to cool in the tin.
Cut in to squares before removing from the tin.
